My First Baby Shower!!

On July 28th my cute friend Lara through me my first baby shower!! It was SO well done and SO much fun. She completely spoiled us. She had a yummy lunch and some super fun games for us to play.

One of the games was a candy bar game, not like the diaper one, you have to match certain candies to a pregnancy term... for instance, epidural was Life Savers!! So cute!

We also played "Who knows Mommy the best" my mom won. It was so fun to see some of the answers.

We got lots of cute outfits, Binky's, sippy cups, burp rags, diapers, wipes, bows, towel, lotion, baby wash, and a mattress!! Thank you to everyone!!! Everything will be used lots and lots!!!

Not only did Lara throw such an amazing shower she gave me lots and lots of gifts!!!! Loved it all.

My mother in law is giving us our Crib Mattress she wrote a cute coupon good for one mattress!!

What a fun day I am so excited for everything we got and can't wait to use it. Such a great first shower.

July 24th

For July 24th we went to my parents for a yummy steak dinner. We all just hung out until it got dark and then headed out to light some fireworks. My parents had bought some fun ones to watch. Laryssa was having a blast helping Grandpa set up and light the fireworks. After watching the fireworks with my family we went over to Griffin's parents to hang out for a bit.

It was a fun Holiday that went way to fast!!

30 Week Maternity Photos

July 25th my sister took our Maternity Photos. Didn't she do such a good job?!! I love how they turned out. We went to Day Break Lake and took quite a few pictures. I can not believe how fast this pregnancy is going by... It just amazes me!! SO many people said that it goes slow especially the last trimester.. They lied haha!! She is going to be here in 57 days. Oh my goodness... We are still trying to find time to get everything ready for her arrival. We did figure out our insurance issue!! Wahoo thank goodness. What a relief off my shoulders, I was getting really nervous but now Blake is covered as well as me!! We got on Griffin's work insurance, which is really good!! I am also staying on my parents insurance as a secondary, that way I am double covered and maybe with both they will cover a lot of the bills!! Fingers crossed. We had a ultra sound last week to see where my placenta was sitting, on our 18 week appointment my placenta was sitting a bit low which could result in a C section, but last week we checked and it had moved!! Also during the ultra sound we were able to see our little one!! Her face was so precious, she was doing a kissy face with her lips. Love her!!

How far along? Tomorrow I will be 32 weeks... Holy Moly!!

Total weight gain: Last week at the Dr. I had gained 19 pounds.

Maternity clothes? I have been wearing a few things of maternity, but usually I wear leggings with a baggy shirt.

Sleep: I want to sleep all the time!! When I do finally get the time to sleep, or at night, I can not get comfy.. I have a pillow for my head, my back, and a body pillow for my knees. I wake up lots to toss and turn.

Stretch marks? I haven't had any and really hope I don't get any!!

Miss Anything? Sea food, Sushi, my old clothes, and energy.

Best moment this week: I would have to say seeing her lips making a kissy face at me and Griff!!

Movement: She is quite the mover. She loves to push her feet by my ribs, and wiggle her bum around haha!! She is so sweet trying to find more room in my belly.

Gender: A little Girl. We were able to have one last check at the ultra sound last week :)

Food cravings: Nothing that I can think of. I still love fruit, cereal, and juice. I have been wanting sea food!

Anything making you queasy or sick: At night when I get heart burn it makes me really sick!!

Labor Signs: My doctor told me that I might get braxton hicks these last few weeks... I am not looking forward to that.

Symptoms: I have to go to the bathroom a lot, heart burn, sleepy, and pressure on my hips.

Belly Button in or out? In my sisters words, I am almost done, my belly button has almost all the way popped. I don't really know how much more it can pop though because it is already an outtie.

Wedding rings on or off? It still fits. :)

Happy or Moody most of the time: I am a little bit of everything haha. I think I am more happy then moody, but when people say or do dumb things it can put me in a bad mood!!

Husband this week: I don't think it has hit him yet that she is going to be here in 8 weeks. He is beyond excited for her to get here, but he doesn't realize how fast these weeks are going to go!

Looking forward to: Getting her room junked out, cleaned up, and put together!! We still need to buy furniture for her and I think we are getting her crib this week :D I can't wait!!

Baby Size: Tomorrow she will be... Week 32: Squash Average size: 15.2- 16.7 inches, 2.5-3.8 lb.

Golf Tourney!!

Griff had a great opportunity to go play in a Tournament in Washington July 13 and 14. This year he signed up for the Golf Channel Armature Tour. He was so excited to play here at Cambers Bay!

It was a 2 day tournament which he loved!! His brother Devin is in Washington for a couple months with rotations so Griff stayed with him. Dev went with Griff on the tournament to caddie for him and take pictures! Thanks Dev!!

This Golf Course was like none that he had ever played on before, he said that the bunkers we way deep and there was fog all over the course. He really loved it.

Griff did such a good job, He took 2nd place!!!

They gave him a $300 gift card to go buy golf stuff!!

It also qualified him for Nationals in Florida. I am so proud of him. He has really stepped up and made golf a priority this year, he is so good!! I am a little wishy washy about Nationals.. so is he. We are not sure if he will be going.. first of all it is in Florida (pricey), and secondly It is the 2nd week of September and we are Due October 2nd.. So if for any reason I was so to early he would miss it! We will have to play it by ear.

I could not be more happy for him. He was looking forward to this tourney for a long time and he did so well!! Good job babe!

Not to mention on July 21st Griff played in Clearlinks Golf tourney. This is his team and they took 1st!!! Yay!! He got more gift cards to buy more golf stuff. He sure had a fun shopping spree buying lots of great things!! Good work Griffy you are a great golfer.

Hokulia Ice

Do you want to know what a Hokulia Shaved Ice is?? You will have to go to Provo and experience it yourself! It is amazing. See the ones in our hands? Those are smalls.. can you imagine getting a medium or a large? Holy moly it was so much shaved ice but yet so good. It is not your typical Snow Shack with the typical snow cone texture. It is more fluffy and delicious!!! They have this awesome machine that makes the ice like a cotton texture, they put as many flavors on top but we only did 3. Then you can pay $1 extra and get a scoop of ice cream in the middle.

We asked our friends Luke and Chelsea to meet us there.

It is the perfect treat on a summer day!

Fireworks

Because on the 4th we all missed the firework show... we decided that we would shoot off some at my parents house on 5th. They had bought some fun ones, so they invited us all to watch!! Griff and Zach both had other things going on so they weren't there. We did sparklers and had normal fireworks as well as the in the sky ones!! It wouldn't be July without fireworks! :D

LOVE watching fireworks, so glad that we were able to light some off!!

*4th of July*

4th of July this year was fun but different, with it being on a weekday it is hard to stay out late. In the morning Griff went into work, I had the day off. So I met up with my family at my sisters house and we had German Pancakes for breakfast. They were so yummy!!! Afterwards my mom and I went to Walmart to register for Blakelee. We were there for a few hours and got some great things on our registry. We then decided to go get Pedicures. :D

It was amazing to have someone rub my feet!! I loved every minute of the pedi and am hoping to get a few more before Blake is born. The rest of the afternoon we just vegged and had some lunch. Griff came over once he had finished his shift and a few holes of golf. It was then time to head to Sugar House for our annual BBQ and fireworks!! They food was delicious and the company was great. Love spending time with the family. We didn't stay for the firework show because we both had to work early the next day, so we took off around 9:30. We did get a fun firework show on the drive home!! Basically every city was shooting them off! Such a fun day, can not believe how fast this year is going... July is almost over. Crazy!!!
