23 weeks!!

How far along? We are now 23 weeks along!! Tomorrow will be 24 weeks. Holy Moly the time is just flying by.

Total weight gain: I have gained about 8 pounds. Never been this weight before... even though it is healthy to gain the weight it is so hard to stand on the scale and see the numbers jump this high!!

Maternity clothes? Yes. I wear a few shirts and pants that are maternity, but I still can fit into my regular shirts.. not the pants though.

Sleep: It is getting harder and harder each night to sleep through the night. My doctor told me to sleep on my sides and if I want to sleep on my back I need a pillow propping up one of my hips. It isn't very comfy. But I do get into some deep sleeps with some crazy dreams, so that is good!

Stretch marks? Still no!! Yay I am keeping my fingers crossed for none.

Miss Anything? Stomach sleeping. I love just snuggling up to my pillow and laying on my tummy. Also being able to wear a 2 piece at the pool.

Best moment this week: We were out to dinner and she did a body roll down my stomach Haha!! It was the most crazy sensation.

Movement: Oh my goodness we have a mover. She is pretty good to sleep when I am sleeping or at least hold still but through out the day when I am sitting down or just after I eat she is going nuts.

Gender: Girlie Girl!!

Food cravings: This week I have wanted and loved Cheerios... weird because I am usually not a fan of them.. As healthy as it sounds it isn't.. I put honey on the top of them!! Mmm!!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Around 11am if I haven't had a big glass of water or sprite I get very nausea's. No food will sound good until I get hydrated.

Labor Signs: Nothing yet. Good thing.

Symptoms: My right hip has been so sore and feels like I need to pop it back into place!! The bottom of my ribs are starting to get sore from my belly growing.

Belly Button in or out? Getting flatter!!! It will be so funny when and if it pops out!!

Wedding rings on or off? Still on and roomy!! When I am super hot my ring has always been a bit snug but it is fitting the exact same as it did before getting pregnant.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Not going to lie I have been a bit more moody lately. More things are starting to bug me and make me on edge. I feel like I do control it and not lash out but I still feel that I am getting frustrated more this past week..

Husband this week: Hanging in there!! He is stressed with Insurance and a few other things that we need to get sorted out before to much more time passes.. But he is still feeling my tummy in hopes that she will give him a good kick hello.

Looking forward to: Having a baby shower!! My cute friend Lara has offered to throw me one and I am thrilled!!! It will be so much fun and I can not even wait have it. Also to get registered!

Baby Size: Grapefruit, Average size: 10.5 inches, 12.7 oz.

Mothers Day.

For mothers day my mom had us all over for dinner. My grandparents also came over to celebrate the holiday with us. We got my mom a wagon for all her scrapbooking supplies. She also got a certificate to get a massage! My cute nieces made all the grandmas a cute painting, they loved it! And my mom got me a bracelet that each year I will be getting a charm to go on it for Mothers Day.
We went to church with my mom and all the girls got some flowers.
The day before Griff gave me a Gift Card to go to Leatherbees!!
So even though I am not "technically" a mom yet... I got spoiled.
I do think that being pregnant with sickness, food cravings, mood swings, hip and back pains, not being able to eat some of your favorite foods, not being able to sleep on your stomach, and hot flashes is defiantly considered the start of being a mom.
After dinner at my moms we went to visit Griff's mom. We gave her a Gift Certificate to go get her nails done at her favorite nail salon. She also got some fun gifts from her family.
Once gifts were given we had our annual Sunday Movie Night!!
What a fun Mothers Day.
Leatherbees Night out for Mother's Day!
I am learning more every day about what moms do for their kids. I see what my mom and Griff's mom do for all of us and it blows my mind how amazing these ladies are!! I love them very much. This past week has been a very difficult one for Griff and me and my sweet mom and sister have both stepped up and mothered me to the end. They have been there for me with comfort and guidance. They have really been amazing to Griff and I and I could not thank them more. Moms are the best and I am so thankful to have these moms in my life to teach me and help prepare me for when our little one makes her entrance. I am not going to lie I am nervous for everything but at the same time I could not be more excited. I know that you learn and grow as time goes on, so I will figure it all out. I am very blessed to be able to be a mom and I can't wait for her to look at me as her mom and put all her trust in me. It will be scary at times but the most wonderful feeling too!!

The Zoo

A couple Fridays ago my mom, sister, Laryssa, Jaelyn and I went to the Zoo!! We stopped and picked up some lunch to eat once we got inside. We were able to see all the fun animals. The monkeys were my favorite. I love how cute they are. Laryssa loved every animal she saw. She would say "the ___ are my favorite" it was so cute!! It was a perfect day to be out, at first it was chilly but it warmed right up. We were able to see all the animals, then we headed to the car to head home. But first we stopped at McDonald's for some ice cream!!!
What a fun day out with the girlie's!!

Little Beau Man's Blessing

May 6th was Beau's special day. Dev and Meg moved back that weekend from Arizona and had Beau's Blessing at the Bland's home ward. Scott is the Bishop so it was very special to have him preside the meeting. All of Megan and Devin's family and close friends were their. Devin did such an amazing job blessing his little one. He made me cry. It was even more special knowing that Griffin will be doing the exact same thing once our sweet girl is here!
After the blessing we all went back to the Bland's house for a very delicious breakfast. We hung out and caught up with everyone.
What a gorgeous and special day this was!!

Crystal Hot Springs

May 3, 4, and 5 my family and I went to Crystal Hot Springs. Griff had to work and couldn't get it off so I went with my family. It is in a little town called Honeyville, just north of Ogden. We went last year and loved it, so we decided to go again. There is a camp ground with full hook ups for the trailers, and then just down from the camp site is the hot pots. They are so relaxing to sit in!! On the first night when we got there we set up camp then went down to sit in the hot water!! Since I am pregnant I couldn't really get in.. I would jump in to warm up then just dangle my legs or go lay on a lawn chair. We then had some dinner and hung out at camp. In the morning it was pretty chilly so we hung out around the fire and had some lunch. After we ate it warmed up a little so we went down to play in the Hot Springs. The sun was out so we did get a little sun burnt but it felt so nice to have some warm sun hit us. After a few hours at the water we went back to camp for some dinner and dessert, roasted marsh mellows and banana boats! We did hang out around the fire until a wind storm hit us... So off to bed we went.
When we woke up in the morning it was time to pack up and go home... it went WAY to fast!!!
I love camping it is one of my most favorite get aways!!
Down at the Hot Springs the first night.
We had to move camp sites after we were all set up, because our 2 sites were flooding with tons of water...
The attack of the geese and ducks!!! They were surrounding our trailer.
Down to the Hot Springs the next day!!
Time for Mellows!!!

19, 20, 21 Baby Bland

19 Weeks
20 Weeks
How far along? We are now officially 21 weeks along. More then half way!!!

Total weight gain: about 3-4 pounds.

Maternity clothes? I am still wearing Leggings, Baggy Shirts, but I have been wearing some maternity pants. They are so comfy!!

Sleep: Well I sleep a lot. I get home from work around 5 and I usually take a good long nap, then I am usually in bed by 10 or at least try to be! I do sleep good other then I toss and turn a lot trying to get in a comfortable position.

Stretch marks? None and hope I hope it stays that way!

Miss Anything? Sushi!! I have been wanting sushi so badly. Also being able to wear all my clothes I use to.

Best moment this week: Feeling her kick and stretch. Griff was even able to feel her kick pretty hard.

Movement: Lots!! She is a mover and a grover. We know that she is in there.

Gender: Girlie.

Food cravings: I have wanted Watermelon for these past few weeks, Sprite, and my most recent craving is Mcdonalds Hot and Spicy with extra Mayo.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Strong, gross, and powerful smells. Eggs... not as much as they used to but I still don't crave or want to eat them.

Labor Signs: I don't think any.

Symptoms: My tummy muscles are sore from them stretching and her kicking. Being tired every minute of every day. And I feel like I am hungry every minute of every day, but I can't eat a lot when I do.

Belly Button in or out? It is still not poking out!! But it is funny because it is stretching and getting flat... with it being an outtie belly button it is hard to explain!

Wedding rings on or off? on

Happy or Moody most of the time: I am all of the above. More happy and emotional then anything, but I can be set off pretty easily especially people I work for, with, and on. They can get the moody side out of me very fast.

Husband this week: He is such a sweetie!!! He understands why every time he sees me I am sleeping, and he lets me sleep. He loves feeling her move around and gets the biggest smile on his face when she kicks him. He loves talking to her too! He loves her and I very much he is going to be very protective.

Looking forward to: Getting the nursery ready and going out to register for her!

Baby Size: Pomegranate, Average size: 10.5 inches 12.7 ounces

Love you sweet girl, you are such a little wiggle worm!! Mommy and Daddy love you very much and can not even wait to meet you this fall. Keep growing and moving we love feeling your little feet, arms and elbows moving around.

Baby Progress

We have our very first pack of Diapers!!
Griff was out at Walmart the other day and when he came home he showed me his proud purchase. He bought them all by him self. They are Newborn size so we are on our way with the progress for this little girl. We still do not have a crib but I have an idea of the one we will probably be getting. The only hold back on buying the crib is I keep juggling between a white or brown crib... So eventually my mind will be made up. We have been receiving some major cute clothes for Blakelee!! She will be one styling girl. Thank you to everyone who has supported us and been so generous with all the fun gifts.
Getting ready for her has been such a joy in our life's.
