Happy Easter

On Easter morning we woke up went and got Blake's out of bed, she of course was all smiles,and went downstairs to see what the Easter Bunny gave us!! We had fun looking through our gifts, Griff and Blake then went hunting for eggs!! Afterwards we made cinnamon rolls and had some of our boiled eggs for breakfast. It was such a fun relaxing morning for us. Blake went back down to bed while we got ready for church. We headed to Griffin's parents ward to hear his dad speak. He did a great job! Then over to my parents to help get ready for our annual Easter Dinner!!

At my moms Griff played with his new Helicopter, we hid the eggs for the hunt, helped with dinner, and got our new camera ready for some fun pictures!!!

Next we went over to Griffin's parents house it was so fun to have all the cousins their. We all just hung out talking and catching up!! The cousins sure had a lot of fun playing together.

Coloring Easter Eggs

After both Griff and I got off work on Easter Eve March 30th we had our friends Steve and Lara over to color Easter Eggs and watch The Walking Dead. I went to the store after work and grabbed some eggs for us to color... I might have grabbed to many hahah. I guess I was a little excited! Steve and Lara came over around 9 and we started the color fest. 

Growing up this was a major Easter Tradition so I am very excited to pass it along to Blakelee as she grows up. You have to keep the traditions alive to make the Holidays fun!!

Lara was getting very creative in her coloring using Sharpies and making all sorts of awesome designs so I thought how cool is that!! I can do that :) Thanks for the idea Lara!! 

Baby's First Easter!!!

Griff was not to excited about the idea of coloring eggs... I guess he didn't like it growing up or just didn't do it much! He colored 1 egg out of the 24, so I colored 23 eggs and he supported haha!! Then he took a nap from working a very long day.

Fire and Ice

On March 23rd was Griffin's work party Fire and Ice!! (Back Tracking here).

It was such a fun night out. We dropped Blake off at my sisters and headed downtown to The Complex. They had gambling tables, food, music, and much more. Griff was in heaven he loved that he was able to play all the poker he wanted. They gave us $100 worth in chips that you were able to play with and at the end of the night for every $100 you had you were given a raffle ticket to enter into some drawings for some amazing prizes!! 

After playing some 21 and poker we hit the Craps table. I have never known how to play this one but Griff loved it so he taught me how it works. He rolled for about 20 minutes straight!! Hahah the whole table was so happy with all his rolls. He was on fire. 

He made $2500 worth in chips so we were given 25 raffle tickets. We should've placed them all in one bowl for just one prize but we split them up in a few bowls... so we didn't win anything!! Dang it. But it was still a lot of fun. After they did the drawing we headed back to my sisters to pick up Blakelee and headed home.

It was nice to have a night to hang out and have a little date night. I don't feel like we get many of these anymore. We love having Blake tag along but it is nice every now and again to have a night out!!

Easter Eve Egg Hunt

March 30th my Grandma and Grandpa Payne had their annual Easter Egg Hunt with our family. It was so much fun watching all the kids in the back yard hunt for their eggs! Griff had to work so he was unable to come and hang out with us all... We missed him! Blakelee was spoiled. She got peeps, shampoo and body wash, wipes, and a plush duck.

Jason and Kortney bought Tay this adorable bunny!! Klohee is so cute and cuddly. It was so fun having a real Easter Bunny at the party :).

Blake LOVED the bunny!!! We had to be careful because all she wanted to do was pull the hair haha.

On top of all her gifts from Great Grandma and Grandpa they also gave her some Easter Eggs filled with candy... Holy Moly She was spoiled!! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa.

Mini Slumber Party

Friday the 29th of March I was able to babysit these pretty girls while their mom and dad went to a movie. Jae went down early so Blake, Ryss, and I watched Hercules and had popcorn. It was like a mini slumber party. Minus the Sleep over!! We had a lot of fun. Love Girls Nights :).

6 month Appointment

I took Blakelee to her 6 month appointment on Wednesday March 27th. When I went into her room in the morning she was all smiles!!! She is always all smiles it is the cutest thing ever. She gets so happy in the mornings. 

Her appointment went really well. She is 36 % in her head, 58% in weight and 81% in length! She is going to be really tall. Poor thing had to get shots... it breaks my heart every time she has to go through those dang shots!! She looks at me all sad and worried. She starts shaking the minute it happens and then her bottom lip sticks out and the crying starts right after. All I can do is hold her hands until they are all done. I pick her up and she looks at me like "why did you let that happen??" I just want to cry every time I see her in pain. 

She is the most precious little girl ever!!
