Special Day in White

November 4th was one of Blakelee's most Special Day!! It was her Blessing Day.

In the morning we got ready then headed to Griffin's parents ward at 9am. We wanted to bless her close to our family and in a ward that we were familiar with. So we decided to bless her out in one of our parents wards. Griffin did an amazing job on blessing her. It was so tender and melted my heart. He started off by thanking Heavenly Father for an Angel!! It was the sweetest thing hearing the crackle in his voice, after he thanked him, from getting choked up. He blessed her with some amazing things that will help her in her life from here on out.

My Dad, Griff's Dad, Grandpa Anderson, Grandpa Payne, Zach, Devin, and Eric were in the circle for the blessing. So many of our friends and family were there supporting Blakelee on her special day.

Once the blessing was over we all went back to my moms house for a brunch. So many people were so helpful with bringing some food and drinks. My cute mom did so much to make this day happen, she cleaned, shopped, and hosted such a fun day!! Thank you mom so much for everything you are so amazing!!

This is a day that I will never forget!!

Having the priesthood in our lives is the most powerful thing that I have ever seen. I am so happy that I have such a wonderful husband that holds the priesthood and was able to bless our baby girl. It brings the biggest smiles and happiest feeling to my heart knowing he was there for her this day! Love my whole family and my new little family so much.

Witching Hours

For Halloween this year we were able to dress up a cute little girl!! She was a witch. We got a cute onesie for a shower that had a witch on it, it was a little big for her but she looked so darn cute. During the day I went with my sister to watch Laryssa do her gymnastics then we went to South Town Mall to get Blakelee her Blessing Dress (such a cute dress!!). We then got some lunch with Zach at Fire House Subs. I had never eaten there before, it was SO good!! I then headed home for a nice massage. Griff knew that I was very sore from delivering Blakelee, stress, holding and taking care of her, and just every day life. So he made me a massage appointment at Massage Envy. It was so nice to have a relaxing hour and getting pampered!!! After my massage I hurried home to get Blakelee and me ready for our night out. We then loaded the car and all headed to Lindsay's house for White Chili and Halloween fun.

After chili we all headed out so the girls could trick or treat around the neighborhood. As we were out we went to this house that puts on a Thriller performance. They dress up all zombie like and do all kinds of Halloween dances. The house is all decked out as well!! Most of the houses in the neighborhood go all out with this holiday. They had chain saw guys chasing people and masked guys going around just to spook you!!!

After watching all the dances and enjoying the fun we decided that we better load up and go visit Griff's family.

Aren't they so cute?? :) Beau was so stinking adorable in his big pumpkin costume.  We had to try to hurry to get these pictures because both of them were super tired, hungry and needed a bum change haha!!

It was now time to get her out of her costume and into her pj's for the night!!

She did such a good job being such a super cute witch!

What a fun Halloween, we are so happy to have our sweet girl to celebrate all the Holidays with!!

1 MONTH OLD

I can not believe that this little girl is already 1 month old!! She is changing her looks EVERY day. She is seriously so dang cute. We just love her so much.

She sure loves her food. She eats every 3-4 hours during the day and will eat easily 4 oz at every feeding. She gets very upset if she is hungry. Her cry when she is hungry is more of a whine... until she feels like we are taking to long to get the food to her, then she gets mad! At night she will eat almost 5 oz of formula before we put her down for the night. She sure is learning that she needs to fill up her belly before she sleeps. Once she is feed at night she will usually go to bed around 10-11pm and sleep for 5 hours :)!! Then after her next feeding she will sleep between 3-4 hours. It is so nice that she is only up once a night (for the most part).

We have all been working hard at getting all of us on a schedule. We are learning when she is hungry, has a dirty diaper, when she is tired, and when she is just bored.

She loves to cuddle!! But.. hates having her arms wrapped up. I think she might be claustrophobic, just like Mommy!! She wants to be able to wiggle and move her arms freely.

She is a little heater when she sleeps and even sometimes when she is awake.

She started smiling when she was about 3 1/2 weeks old!! I love when she does it is the cutest thing ever!! Her eyes are becoming more and more blue as she grows. Her fingers and toes are very long and very cute. She can't even keep little mittens on her hands because they don't fit. Her fingers are so long that the gloves are to small :)!! When there are people around her, weather it be holding her or just paying attention to her on the floor, she does really well and is content for most of the time. She is such a joy in our lives and we can not get enough of her!!

Fally Time

Griff, Blakelee and I decided that we would take a drive up the canyon to see all the gorgeous fall leaves!! Well we were about 2 weeks to late to see to many red, yellow, and orange's!! Down towards the bottom of the canyon were the most pretty leaves... but as we drove to far up the leaves were already fallen off and dead haha!! Dang it!!

We did have a lot of fun taking a fun drive together and enjoying the fall weather. Next year we will have to be more on top of the timing and get up in the mountains much earlier.

I love fall!! The crisp in the air, boots, hoodies, blankets, hot coca, the smell of the heater in the house, changing of the leaves, the fun Halloween and Thanksgiving decorations in my house, and all the fun activities that come with this season!!
