Telling the Parents

The original plan was to wait till we were 6-7 weeks along until we told our families but we were to excited. We couldn't wait even a week! So the day after we found out we decided to tell our parents.
We headed to Walmart picked up 2 blankets, 2 poster boards, and markers. Next off to my parents... on the way their I was writing on the poster and decorating it. It said "Bompa and Damma Please Hold Safe. Love Ryder or Blaklee. See you in October! Baby Bland."
When we got to my families we dropped the poster on the door step and put the blanket with it. Rang the doorbell and went in through the garage. We were trying to be sneaking and fast so we would be inside while they opened the door, but the garage door was locked so we didn't make it in until after they had already picked up the gift on the porch. They were so very surprised!! My mom yells "Your Pregnant??" We had told everyone that we wanted to wait 5 years after we were married until kids... We fooled them all! :D We hugged them and some tears were involved of happiness!!
We hung out with them for a bit and then headed to Griff's families.
Dev and Meg already knew the news because Griff was so excited he had to tell someone they day we found out. So they said they would help us out with telling the fam! Thanks guys!!!
So we met them in the neighborhood and gave them the poster and blanket for them to place on the porch ring and run while we were already inside.
So we head in the house trying to pretend like nothing. But knowing that we were about to tell his family and just getting done telling my family, we were on a high!! Finally we hear the doorbell ring and Debbie goes to get it. She just stares at it forever haha then says "Oh my gosh!" So we go over and give her a hug. More tears!! Next thing we bring it inside and the family congratulates us!
It was so fun to tell the family!
We are so excited for our little one to be here!!!

Expecting Expecting Read All About It

On January 25 I found out I was Pregnant!!
I was 2 days late and Griff told me to just wait before I took a test...
Well I couldn't wait!
I got off work around 5pm and headed straight to All A Dollar, yes the dollar store, they carry pregnancy tests. So I thought I would take that and if it was negative I was only out $1 haha, cheap I know.
Well the whole drive home I am crossing my fingers and praying that the test would say positive. When I took the test it immediately had 2 lines I starred at my self in the mirror in disbelief and shocked. I then grabbed my purse and ran to Walmart to pick up a real Pregnancy Test, since the All A Dollar one was fake of course!! While I was at Walmart I decided to pick up some things to tell Griff incase this test was positive too. During all of this fun Griff was at the Golf Course. He calls me as I am running through the store and asks me what we should do for dinner and says he is on his way home!! I am freaking out I still had so much to do before he made his entrance... I finally get everything and get home. Griff then calls me and asks me to put some Corn Dogs in the oven he was about 10 mins from home at this point and I hadn't even gotten out of my car yet! I get inside and guess what?? The All A Dollar test wasn't fake, it was right all along. We are pregnant!!!! I start jumping up and down, wondering if I cry or shout for joy, with a huge grin on my face I frantically run through my house blowing up balloons, putting corn dogs in the oven, making the display of everything for Griff to see when he gets home, as fast as I can. Next thing I know Griff is home! He walks in.....
...with the biggest smile on his face!!!
"Are you pregnant??"
I throw my hands in the air and shout "I'm pregnant," with tears in my eyes!!
We are so excited for this fall to be here, a little nervous, but excited!!
There is so much that we still need to do to get ready and so much we want to accomplish this year before our little bundle of joy arrives.
We calculated our due date online and it came out to be October 2nd.
Our first Doctors appointment is March 6th, we will be 10 weeks, and hopefully get to hear the heart beat and find out when the actual due date will be.
4 weeks here and so happy!
I have been pretty sick this last week being 6 weeks, so sick that I could barely stand up for longer then 10 minutes without feeling very dizzy and nauseous! I had no appetite and had a hard time keeping food down. I knew that there was no way I could continue feeling like this having a standing job and feeling so sick...
I had to call my Doctor and they had to call me in some nausea pills. They have worked wonders!!! I haven't been feeling sick anymore just very tired and fat haha! I can't suck my tummy in without it hurting or being so uncomfortable. It has and will be all worth it, we knew 2012 was going to be one to never forget!!

Vegas Tourney

January 28th and 29th we headed down to Vegas, for Griffin to play in a Golf Tourney.
We headed out early on Saturday morning so we could get there in enough time to enjoy the day.
We hit Vegas around 2 ish and drove straight to a golf course so Devin and Griff wouldn't miss their tee time.
After we dropped Griff and Dev off Bre and I went and checked into our Hotel at the Luxor.
Our room was in the actual pyramid!!
We have stayed in the Luxor numerous times but never had a room in the Pyramid.
It was awesome!!
Other then the elevator rode up on an angle... little scary!
Bre and I got all freshened up for the night and headed out on the Strip.
It was such a nice night!!
We then headed to the car and drove to pick up the boys from the golf course.
It was dinner time so we all headed to get some pizza!!!
From driving all morning and having a busy rest of the day we decided to
head back to the hotel and just relax!!
So the boys laid down and were out!!
So Bre and I watched some TV and finally fell asleep too.
We are some party animals. :)
In the morning the boys took off early to make it on time to the Golf Tourney for Griff!!
Bre and I hung out in the hotel room for a few hours then decided to hit the Strip yet again.
We walked down one side to the Belagio watched the show then back up the other side.
It was a lot of walking and a lot of seeing all the amazing hotels inside and out, we wore our self's out.
When we got the the New York New York we went and sat inside to talk while we waited for the boys to get done with their game.
Griff came and picked us up and we went inside the Tropicana so Griff could play some 21... He won us some money :)!!
What a fun yet short trip to Vegas!
It is always nice to get out and just relax!!

The GOLDEN One

My Grandparents just had their 50th Anniversary.
We all gathered at McGraths Fish House for a very good dinner and family time!
My mom made the table look so good.
Balloons, Confetti, and Sparkling Cider!!
It was a great night!!
Mom and Dad
Bree, Russ, and Lisa
Boyd and Rachel
Zach and Linds
Best Grandma and Grandpa a girl could ask for!!
Kortney and Jason
Me and my Handsome Hubby!!!
They got Willow Tree statues the Family ones!
They also got a letter or poem or just something from our hearts that we had written out for them.
This is what I did for them:

My Grandparents
My Grandma & Grandpa
Are one of a kind.
Who makes you feel so special
And warm inside.

They always give
you a hug or two.
And hold you close
with a smile for you.

Their house has always
been my favorite.
So welcoming and loving
No matter where you sit.

When you're down or sad
Give them a call.
They know just what
To say to never let you fall.

With great stories from each
And a treat in your hand.
You can't help but to listen
feeling just so grand.

When I think of my Grandparents
I smile from ear to ear.
They are just so amazing
Good thing their always near.

I Love them!!
Happy Anniversary Grandma and Grandpa!!
Congrats on 50 years.
It will be amazing when Griff and I are at that time of our lives. Surrounded by all our loved ones our kids and their better half and kids!!
Just like my grandpa said family is the best thing in the world you can't ask to be around better people!!

It is crazy how Friday the 13th makes you think of all these things!!
I'm hoping to get to watch this movie tonight!! Haha Good Ol' Friday the 13th!!
I am just glad that I am not at work today.
As much as I'd like to say that I am not Superstitious, well sometimes I guess I am!
When I hold a mirror I think about if it were to brake... Or if I see a ladder I don't walk under it... Same with if I see a black cat!!
I bet we all have a little superstitious bone in our body!! :D
Happy Freaky Friday the 13th Everyone!!!

Play Dough and Polish

I love spending time with my cute little girls!! Last week I spent all Friday hanging out with them.
We played with Laryssa's Play Dough kit.
She made me Pretzels, Cookies, and Strawberries out of Play Dough.
We had spent quite awhile playing!!
Painting our nails!!
We painted Jaelyn's toes for the first time!!
She was so funny to watch.
She was confused why her mom was holding her foot and kept looking at her!
She kept pulling her foot away from her mom so her nail polish was on more then her toe nails haha!!
What a silly little girl.
Love them so much!
