On the Eve of Christmas...

Griff and I went to my Grandma Anderson's for our annual Christmas Eve party.

We had a very yummy dinner and did gifts.

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for the money it will be put to good use :D

When you are younger you get to exchange gifts with the cousins but as you get older you don't get to do the gift exchange you get to play in the White Elephant game.

We put in a movie with a blanket and candy for our gift.

And after many exchanges we ended up with a nice snow scrapper and Cold Stone gift card!!

So excited about it!!

Once the party was over we went over to Griffin's family for our Eve Sleepover party!

We had a funny White Elephant gift exchange here!!

So we had wrapped Tampons and Sexy Love Spray!!

It was so so so funny...

.. Grandma Call was over with us and she picked one of our gifts to unwrap!!

Griff and I both knew what is was under the paper so we were crying from laughing so hard.

As she was unwrapping she said "maybe grandpa can use this!!' Made it even more funny.

Once she got it unwrapped her mouth dropped and she started to laugh!!

It was the Tampons!!!

Hahahha Highlight of the night!

Dev got the Sexy Spray and loved it so much hahah jk!!!

What a fun game I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

We stayed up pretty late playing Curses and a form of Murder in the dark.

Then off the bedy by we went!!!

What a great Christmas Eve!!!

Temple Square

Going to the Temple lights this year was very Cold...

But we went anyways.

It was so cold it actually started snowing!

It was very pretty though.

We took trax down and walked around the temple grounds with my family.

The lights this year where beautiful!!

They did such a good job.

I love going to the temple with my husband even if it is the grounds only.

It puts us in good moods and puts smiles on our faces!!

Tired baby!!

My toes were freezing I should've worn warmer socks!!!

Tempting Festive Goodies

One tradition that I love before Christmas is that we bake all kinds of goodies so eat and share.

We always make Peanut Brittle, My Favorite!!!

And fudge!!

Mmm... No wonder we gain during the Holiday's haha!!

It takes a bit to make these 2 treats.

 At this point I was very Sleepy...

.. So I curled up and took a nap!

After we did Chocolate covered Marsh mellows with sprinkles,

and Oreo's covered in white chocolate with Peppermint sprinkles!

He was very excited about the treats hahah!!!

Super delicious treats were made this day!

Slumber Party

The other weekend Ryss came over and spent the night with Griff and me.

She is just the cutest thing ever!!!

I love spending time with her!

She came over and we watched Christmas movies and ate Mac & Cheese our favorite.

Then we colored Christmas Pictures.

She is such a smart 2 year old.

I would start using a color.. lets say red...

.. and she would look over at me and say "I need.... Red!"

So I would hand it over and pick up yellow..

.. Soon enough I would hear "I need yellow."

Hahah every color I was using she would say she needed it.

I don't even know how a 2 year old would know each and every color!

I was coloring my pages and she decided that she wanted to color my picture haha.

What a helper.

She really colors so well.

Stays in the lines for the most part.

She is far beyond her years that is for sure.

 She will be a smarty pants once she starts school.

I just hope that when my day comes to be a mom that I can teach my kids like my sister and brother-in-law teach her! Linds I might need some advice once in a while :)!!

Bath Time.

Her most favorite time of the day!

She is defiantly my Niece bath time is my favorite time too!!

So as soon as I get the tub filled and put her in she asks "Tistin where are the toys??"

She was very concerned.

Well I don't use toys in my tub and I don't have any kids so of course I say "Oh I don't have any but let me find some things you can play with!"

"Tank you Tistin!!"

:D Melts my heart!!

So I come up with a shower loofah and 2 shaving cream lids!!

She had a blast with them.

Uncle Griff and Ryssa bonding time!!

She got to sleep in a King bed!!

You could barely see her in the bed!

She wanted me to read her books before she went to sleep...

... But yet again I didn't have any.

So I made one up hahha!!

She was very concerned about Monsters this night.

She kept asking me if we had any and if Diff (Griff) would scare them away!!
I told her we don't have any in our house!!

She gave me a hug and kiss good night and off to dream land she went!

In the morning she came and woke me up and we got ready for the day.

.. And hair!!

She has very long hair!!

Love my time I get to spend with my Punkin!!

She is so dang cute!
